Facility Coordinator

We would expect from you to:

  • Be responsible for the overall maintenance and operational functionality including telecommunications systems, furniture and equipment, and all other materials that are essential for the proper functioning of the facility
  • Make sure everything is suitable for daily work by maintaining, making repairs and preparing for emergencies
  • Communicate with the engineers, architects, and construction personnel and ensures that the facility is constructed as per planned
  • Coordinate system repairs and monitor system performance
  • Maintain adequate parts inventory and orders items as necessary
  • Supervise renovation of facilities to ensure that the task is executed as planned
  • Ensure to maintain and continue operation of mechanical systems boiler, fans, generators, electrical switch gear and UPS systems
  • Resolve building problems and serve as a liaison between company employees and outside contractors called in to fix those issues
  • Site contact for all sub-contracted maintenance and repair services
  • Ensure implementation of standards set for safety, security, general maintenance and cleanliness
  • Maintain visitor logs and rosters for meetings, providing a record of all visitors
  • Badge and access control, alarm responses, backup for nighttime lockup: secure doors, alarm, lights
  • Administer and maintain company personnel and facility security policies
  • Test building security systems and preparing for emergency situations by creating an action plan for fire evacuations and disaster response
  • Participate in special projects as required and provide other related tasks as assigned
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols

Our ideal match:

  • Fluency in English along with excellent PC skills are prerequisites
  • Two or more years of related experience
  • The individual in this position must be coordinated, quick thinking, organized and have excellent people skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • An excellent organizer who knows how to prioritize and execute tasks in accordance to the timeline
  • Ability to apply mechanical problem-solving techniques to identified problems or assigned projects/objectives
  • University degree is a plus
