This role is core to the development of continual improvement activity across all areas of CPA Global Operations worldwide and in other areas of business based on specific requirements and projects. CPA Global view Continual Improvement as a core business culture in how we manage our operations globally, this role will support that program globally.
The role is also responsible for leading a team of experts that are tasked with embedding in the business Lean Sigma tools, techniques and culture under the auspices of a Global Operational Excellence Program.
We would expect from you to:
Ensure that all Focused Improvement Teams work to agreed methodology and approach across global Operations and actively promote as an appropriate method of driving continual improvement.
Ensure that local and global reporting on process improvements is accurate and reflective of reality.
Continue work of process standardization.
Promote use of operational key performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement across processes.
Promote active use by operational teams of processes within our Quality Management System (Issues Log, Risk Register, Audits, Quality, Library).
Actively work with senior operational stakeholders to ensure that a complete view of processes is managed through use of tools such as Value Stream Maps and FMEA.
Work with stakeholders to ensure that appropriate development pathways are in place for operational staff in relation to Continual Improvement and Operational Excellence.
Develop and manage appropriate collateral to support people development in Continual Improvement across Global Operations.
Support and work with operational management teams to ensure proactive use of KPI’s at appropriate management levels across Global Operations.
Manage framework of operational reporting and feed into global reporting.
Support the creation of reports to support, and attend stakeholder meetings to represent Continual Improvement and associated progress in embedding into the Organization.
Identify, prioritize and deploy action items for competency development in the team.
Provide vision, direction and support to global Continuous Improvement teams.
Our ideal match:
Bachelor’s degree or minimum or relevant business experience gained leading continuous improvement systems within a global and technology-oriented environment is required.
Minimum five years of experience managing complex business transformation initiatives.
Forward-thinking and systematic in one’s approach. Looks at enterprise process needs based on the company vision and strategy
Understands the change management process and how to leverage it to bring about results.
Strong project management methodology background, including schedule, scope, issue and risk management experience, change management, strategic planning and analysis.
Strong communication and influencing skills.
Proven leader with extensive ability to build solid and collaborative relationships with team members, foster a productive team environment, and coach teams & colleagues.
A quick learner, who networks outside of the organization to learn best practices, and reads extensively to stay abreast with the latest practices and organizational thinking.
